Combat readiness: LASG set to train taskforce personnel

The Lagos State Government said it is set to train Nigeria Police personnel attached to the Lagos State Task Force on ‘Active Combating and Readiness’.
According to a statement signed by the Head of Public Affairs for the Lagos Taskforce, Adebayo Taofiq, the training is set to commence today at Police Training School, Ikeja, Lagos.
The Chairman of the Lagos State Task Force, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi disclosed that the training which will be in four batches became necessary as crime become more complex. The officers charged with enforcing the laws must be open to new and constantly evolving policing philosophies.
