China cash! Oshoala set to dump Arsenal

Foreign reports have suggested two-time African women’s Player of the Year Asisat Oshoala is set to dump Arsenal Ladies to join the China cash bandwagon.

Nine months ago, Oshoala joined Arsenal from another English club Liverpool.

China is now the new destination for the cream of world football as it offers tempting contracts to some of the high profile stars around – Carlos Tevez, Oscar, Mikel Obi etc.

Watford striker Odion Ighalo could also be the big star from the Premier League to opt for the big money the Chinese league now offers.

Oshoala shot to international prominence in 2014, when she fired Nigeria to the final of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada, before she inspired the Super Falcons to win the women’s AFCON in Namibia later that same year.
