Buhari laying economic foundation for Nigeria

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, on Sunday, said that President Muhammadu Buhari was breaking down the old shaky structure for the total reconstruction of the country for a new nation.
Okorocha, who made the remark while addressing worshippers at a Special Church Service to mark the Democracy Day celebration at the Victory Chapel, Government House, Owerri, stressed that what was happening now in the country was a total reconstruction of Nigeria and laying a strong foundation that would metamorphose into a new one.
“The restructuring requires patience and perseverance on the part of all. The APC government led by President Mohammadu Buhari will put Nigeria back on its strong foot. The APC government will not use the downturn in the economy as an excuse but will squeeze water out of stone to put the nation right.”
“What we are passing through now as a nation is a road other great nations like USA and Britain have passed through before they got to where they are today. If Nigeria fails from now henceforth then, the APC will be held responsible but must be given time to clear the rot of yester year.”
Okorocha remarked that “the joy of an existing father is to see the collection of successful sons proud that he has set the state on the right path of greatness with his Rescue Mission team. I love Imo State. I am doing my best to live a legacy and a mark that generation yet unborn will be proud of.”
He said, “five years down the line we can look back and thank God for all we have done to uplift the infrastructural situation of the state and raise the living condition of Imo people. I work for the glory of the job and not for its gains. My struggle is to see that my name and story appear favourably and boldly when the history of the state will be written.”
