Atiku’s endorsement by 38 parties blatant lies – IPAC

Adamawa State aggrieved Inter-Party advisory council (IPAC) members have denied endorsing Atiku Abubakar of People’s Democracy Party (PDP) Presidential candidate.
In a Press conference at the Yola NUJ secretariat, the spokesperson, Mr Aboki Wunuji stressed that they do not endorse Atiku as their candidate but were on a mission to his House in Yola to congratulate him as the new Waziri Adamawa.
While reading the press statement, Wunuji said: “IPAC Members, Chairman of various political parties in the state paid a visit to the former Vice president, Alh. Atiku Abubakar Numbering 38 at his residence at 80 units Jimeta-Yola.
“Earlier at the occasion, the PDP state chairman, Barrister A T Shehu on behave of IPAC members in a statement revealed that they have come to endorse Atiku Abubakar as their presidential candidate in 2019.
“We want the public to note that the statement made by Bakawu Usman, the Adamawa state IPAC publicity secretary to Sahara reporters on the 19th November, 2018 that Adamawa state IPAC have endorsed Mr Atiku Abubakar it is completely not true and is blatant lie and should be disregarded by all.”
In an effort to respond to questions raised by journalists,he said IPAC is not an endorsement organization but an advisory council not endorsing Atiku of PDP Presidential candidate.
He made available a list of 17 party chairmen who distanced the purported endorsement of not bounded to them on their respective party, their parties are political platform that have candidate vying for the presidential seat.
However the out gone IPAC chairman of the State, Rev Iliya Aguwa who invited members to pay courtesy visit to the former President refuted that the 17 political chairmen members of IPAC are not indigenes of the state.
According to him is on record that the 38 Members chairman of IPAC have graciously endorsed the former president by true indigenes of Adamawa state not foreigners.
