ANCOPS: Northwest wins national essay competition

The national essay competition organised and held in Kebbi state by the Confederation of All Principals of Nigeria has been won by the student of Nagari Science College, Birnin Kebbi, Ibrahim Yalli Kamba. The contest was fully participated by all the qualified students short listed by the organisers after through screening and moderation by the judges. Speaking on behalf of other principals, the State President, Aliyu Mustapha Gwandu said what happened was a demonstration of sound teaching and the intellect of the student, which couldn’t have been achieved without encouragement and counselling from all principals in different schools of Kebbi State. Parents of the winner expressed joy over the success of their son, adding that the victory is not theirs alone but for the entire ANCOPS North west. They noted that good training and the knowledge that was given to their son and other children was the vehicle used to attain success during the competition. At the end of occasion prizes were issued to winners from the first, second and third. Gwandu urged the winner to see his victory as encouragement for him to tighten his belt for further contest.
