Alleged N7.1bn fraud: Court to rule on Orji Uzor-Kalu, Others, no case submission

Ruling, on the no case submission filed by the former governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor-Kalu, in a case of N7.1 billion fraud brought against him alongside other defendants has been fixed by a Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Justice Mohammed Idris, on Wednesday fixed July 31, 2018 to deliver ruling in the matter filed against the erstwhile governor by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

At the last hearing, Justice Idris had dismissed the defendants’ application seeking to throw out the amended charge instituted against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
