A’Ibom APC governorship candidate gets confidence vote

Few weeks to 2019 governorship election, the All Progressives Congress (APC) party candidate in Akwa Ibom, Obong Nsima Ekere has received a vote of confidence from The Voice of Sons of God Christian group. In a New Year message issued by the group Leader, Evangelist Udemeakeabasi Sunday said the slow pace of development in Akwa Ibom was unfortunate, and hoped that Obong would change things for better. Evangelist Udemeakeabasi identified insincerity of past leaders in the state as reason for underdevelopment and assured that Obong Ekere filled the when elected. The group acknowledged the plan of APC governorship candidate in Akwa Ibom Obong Ekere to restore financial autonomy to local government areas. “Nobody has the right to touch the money that belongs to our local government councils, every kobo that comes, due to our local government will be sent directly to them” He further extolled the provisions of APC governorship candidates’ manifesto describing it as a political blue print capable of changing the fortunes of the people. The group therefore advised the people to vote in good numbers to enable APC actualize their good intention for the people.
