Adamawa politician laments fate of youths

A Chairmanship Aspirant of Gombi Local Government Area (LGA) of Adamawa state under the plat form of All Progressives Congress, (APC) Alh.Hammadu Mai Kano has lamented that the fate and destiny of Gombi Youths is in serious shambles as a result of insurgents’ attacks in the area.

According to him it’s because of the bedeviling effects of insecurity the area has been subjected into a ruined land and the youths who were a workforce of the place have turned themselves into local vigilantes to protect the citizenry.

“For sure there is going to be total peace and resettlement in Gombi but what will be the fate and destiny of our Youths who have resulted to be vigilantes in order to protect our people from all kinds of insurgents’ attacks? There must be a youth-focused programme, in order to curtail post-insurgents problem,” he said

While picking his Chairmanship form at the party’s secretariat, in Yola, Hammadu told press men that if voted into power he would establish a youth-oriented government that would involve them properly, so as to effect a progressive economic change in the LGA and the state at large.
