Delta: Nursing mother alleges threat to life over refusal for hubby to suck breast

A 39-year old Nursing Mother, Patience Nduka in Asaba, Delta State has alleged threat to life by the husband over her refusal for him to suck her breast with her new born baby.

it was gathered that the housewife, a native of Owerri who married an Asaba business man had allegedly been facing punishments in the hands of her husband since she delivered a baby girl in the past four months for her blunt refusal for him to suck her breast alongside with the baby, especially during nightfall. Sources said the man apart from what his kinsman described about him as a curse, he allegedly drinks Local Gin, otherwise known as “Kankan” after which he descends on the wife with blows.

His relation, Emeka Nduka who spoke to our reporter on the issue, confirmed that his brother had been locked in the web of the scandal over the years; a situation that resulted in the sack of his first wife after two children.

But his wife the victim of the unfortunate situation who narrated her ordeals, said: “since I married my husband, and I put to bed he will be sacking my breast with my baby, most times, after drinking Local gin (Kankan) he will be struggling with the baby for breast feeding, I’m tired, and he had threaten to kill me, and I want to report to the police my nipples are paining me he sucks my breast from, and I will not take it any longer”.

In a swift reaction, the man described the wife as lawless, denying that her allegations were untrue and a plot to tarnish his image.
