Buhari’s revelation on meeting with Ojukwu’ll douse Biafran agitation– Dr. Anozie.

The revelation by President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, that he had a meeting with the Late Biafran Warlord, Chief Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu where the latter said he is for a United Nigeria will douse agitation for a separate state of Biafra.

This indication is contained in a Press Statement signed by the Eze Ndigbo, Oyo State, Dr. Alex Anozie and made available to The Daily Times Correspondent in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

Anozie said that with this revelation, the Igbo people and Nigerians in general deserve a better Nigeria and that everyone should work harder for the nation’s development.
He averred that all his people want is justice, equity, fairness, security, end to corruption, kidnapping and other perceived problems.

Also, he said that, there is the need for the Federal Government to create one additional state in the Southeast geo-political zone, expedite completion of the second Niger bridge and put in place

through federalism like it was the case during the First Republic.
Anozie furthermore said that stakeholders such as former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Dr. Ebele Jonathan, Ibrahim Babaginda, Yakubu Gowon and Shehu Shagari have to be involved in finding a lasting solution to the challenges facing the country.

Others to be included are, General Alani Akinrinade, Jerry Gana, Emeka Anyaoku, Emeka Ezeife, Edwin Clark, Theophilus Danjuma, Alex Ekwueme, Afenifere, Ohaneze Ndigo, Aruwa Consulative Forum, Niger Delta leadership, Governors of states, traditional rulers, CAN,
Islamic leaders, even Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOD head, security Chiefs to mention but a few.
“Once all these above-mentioned measures are taken, the issue of hate speeches and other related ones would fizzle out. Dr. Anozie added.
