NPFL: Bosso unhappy over Nasarawa loss

El Kanemi Warriors coach Ladan Bosso is unhappy about his side 2-1 loss to Nasarawa United at the Lafia City Stadium and he blamed it on travel fatigue.

Adamu Hassan’s brace for the Solid Miners saw the Desert Warriors crumble despite Haliru Hashimu’s consolation for their visitors.

And Bosso insists making a top-four finish or winning the title are not his main targets this season despite one point away from a continental place.

“I’m disappointed. We came with hopes of getting something against Nassarawa United,” Bosso told media.

“But they scored two beautiful goals against us though we scored one which was not enough to give us a point.

“We will go back to the drawing board so as to get a decent result in our next game away to Sunshine stars of Akure.

“To be sincere road trip is not the best for our local players judging by the fact that after honouring an away game, you will have to return to your base to play another game in less than 72 hours.

“I have been in the game of football for so long and I can boastfully let you know that the league has really improved as compared to years back.

‘I didn’t promise anyone anything as regards to the league title, not even the top four, all I want is to leave a lasting legacy of not been a failure where ever I find myself but anything added will definitely be a plus.”
