24 coaches for NOC/IOC solidarity course

A total of 24 athletics coaches drawn from across the states including the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, are featuring at the ongoing U-16 International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) coaches educational system Olympic Solidarity coaching course as put together by the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) in conjunction with the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

Tagged U-16 IOC/NOC Level I solidarity coach course, the programme which holds from May 29—June, 2017 has Professor Ezra Gunnen of the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria and Dr. Funmi Nutayi of the Human Kinetic Department of the
University of Lagos (UNILAG) as facilitators according to Ms. Ekeoma Ogazi of the Nigeria Olympic Committee.

Meanwhile, the Secretary General of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, Hon. Tunde Popoola, has commended the participants for being prompt at the programme.

Adding that their participation will not only enrich their knowledge with the modern day technicalities of the sport, but will go a long way in boosting their profiles and placing them on the international list.
