2019: PDP mobilize votes in 774 LGA’s across Nigeria
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has said it has mobilized voters across the 774 Local Government Areas in the country for its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, ahead of the 2019 elections.
The national leadership of the party stated this on Monday while giving an update on the level of success attained so far on campaign mechanism deployed to boost its presidential party flag bearer.
The PDP leadership who spoke through a statement signed by its LGA national chairman, Alhaji Idris Gana and a copy made available to our correspondent, said the grassroot local government chairmen of the party in all the 774 local government areas in the country have gone to the field to drum grassroot support for Atiku.
Gana said that the electorates at the local government areas across the country have expressed their readiness to take their destiny in their hands by voting for change of government in the next general election.
“What the people at the local government areas are craving for is a free and fair conduct of the 2019 general elections to produce the peoples choice at the Presidential, Governorship and State Assembly elections, warning that INEC must live above board to deliver as promised to the people of Nigeria.
‘’let us warn here that the voters at the local government areas knows who they want to be their next President and any attempt to rig the polls would be resisted by the voters”, Gana said.
