2019: Atiku will bring succour to Nigerians, says Orbih

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Edo State Chapter on Wednesday described its Presidential candidate, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku as the only candidate with the capacity to take the country out of the woods and bring succour to Nigerians. State chairman of the PDP, Dan Orbih, made the assertion while receiving over 700 women and 500 youths into the party from the All Progressives Congress (APC) during a rally in Fugar, headquarters of Etsako Central Local Government Council in the state. Orbih who alleged that Nigerians home and abroad were dissatisfied with the APC leadership, called on the National Assembly to override president Muhammadu Buhari’s refusal to assent to the Electoral Amendment Act to save the country from drifting. He said the mood of Nigerians on the street has further confirmed that Nigerians have decided to effect a change in the leadership of the country adding that Boko Haram attacks on communities coupled with the alarming rate of unemployment, and poverty are one too many. Orbih who urged the party’s supporters to keep hope alive and work for the party’s victory in the 2019 polls, tasked members on house to house, neighbour to neighbour, youths to youths and women to women campaign. “An environment where there is no peace and people particularly women cannot go to their farms to do their business because of fear of being raped or killed by herdsmen must stop. “Nigerians have decided to effect a change in the leadership of the country.
