United Nigeria airlines, Medplus partner to offer discounted flights, wellness incentives

United Nigeria Airlines (UNA) has entered into a strategic partnership with Medplus, a leading health and wellness retail chain, to enhance customer experience across the aviation and pharmaceutical sectors.
The collaboration will offer Medplus customers exclusive access to discounted fares on UNA’s flight network, alongside tailored wellness incentives, creating an integrated health and travel experience across Nigeria and beyond.
In a statement issued to journalists, the two companies said the signing event held in Lagos brought together senior executives from both sides who outlined the vision of combining comfort, convenience, and health-focused value for customers.
Osita Okonkwo, executive director and chief operating officer of UNA, said the partnership creates synergy between air travel and healthcare access, which will benefit both companies’ customer bases while advancing UNA’s regional and international expansion plans.
Under the agreement, Medplus customers will be able to book flights using a unique code available at over 150 Medplus outlets nationwide, unlocking discounted fares. UNA is expected to gain brand visibility through Medplus’ wide retail footprint, with the goal of reinforcing customer loyalty through shared values.
Efe Bakare, Medplus executive director of strategy, described the partnership as a “win-win” milestone, and hinted at potential future collaborations in areas such as logistics and cargo services.
UNA will also use Medplus’ channels to gather customer feedback, a move aimed at enhancing innovation in service delivery.
The companies say the partnership represents a forward-thinking step towards blending lifestyle wellness with seamless travel, offering millions of Nigerians a smarter, healthier, and more connected experience.
