Two die in Ogun auto crash

Two people were on Thursday confirmed dead while two others were seriously injured in an early morning accident which occurred at the Ota tollgate in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State.

It was gathered that the accident happened when two trailers had a head-on collision and killed two of their occupants.

It was gathered that the accident which occurred at the ever busy Abeokuta-Lagos expressway was as a result of brake failure by one of the vehicles.

The two vehicles involved were one MACK truck with registration number, Lagos KJA 93 XJ and another DAF truck LXD 355 XJ.

Officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) were seen trying to salvage the situation which caused a traffic gridlock along the area.
