Twitters decision to open an office in Ghana, not Nigeria, Reno Omokri blames Buhari

Reno Omokri, a former presidential aid, has blamed President Muhammadu Buhari for Twitter’s decision to locate its West African headquarters in Ghana rather than Nigeria.
In response, Abubakar Suleiman, the CEO of Sterling Bank, blamed Nigerians who denigrate the country, calling it a zoo, for Twitter’s decision to be in Ghana rather than Nigeria, despite the fact that Nigerians provide them with more content than Ghanaians.
Reno Omokri, in a response to the CEO of Sterling Bank Nigeria, blamed President Muhammadu Buhari for the issue, citing examples of how Buhari disparaged the country and its youths to a business that was preparing to assist the country.

According to Reno Omokri, President Buhari told the Telegraph in 2016 that Nigerians have a reputation for violence, and then told the Commonwealth Business Forum in 2018 that Nigerian youths are lazy, implying that he is the one who is badmouthing the country.
We don’t know what inspired Twitter’s decision to open an office in Ghana rather than Nigeria, but it has made some Nigerians uncomfortable, with some blaming each other for Twitter’s decision to open its first African office in Ghana.
