Your comfort zone in your home can be anywhere or everywhere. One definite part besides your bedroom is your bathroom or rest room where you have your personal hygene. The tips for a warming restroom isn’t so different from that of the living room. The aim here is to ensure a wonderful feeling as you clean up. You may wish to begin with colors.

Is your restroom small? Is it fairly large? If small, you may have to stick to bold colors and fashionable patterns for your wall tiles and probably mud color for your floor tiles. A small room can look more exquisite with warm bulbs and florescent strategically positioned to reflect on your skin. Just as the presence of electricity in our homes makes us happy, so does perfect lightening affect our mood?

If you have a large bathroom, you should stick to colors for larger surfaces. You should test out before picking a color for preview. Semi-gloss paints are suiting especially with cabinets in the room. The bulbs may create shades on some parts of the room. It is advisable to have a rug just outside your shower area, thick enough to stick to the ground with or without rubber support, especially if your floors are tiled. On tiles, the removable adhesive tiles is in trend. It is not so difficult to remove unlike the common ceramics. The floor of your bathroom should have a drain somewhere to take out water just in case.

Your restroom is to be convenient, so you need to have all you need at your reach. Your towel rack or shelf should be at arm’s length and so should your tissue paper.

Do you have a shelve you don’t have to cluster it up. Put in place only what you need and use, from your body spray, body lotion, deodorants, tooth paste and brush, hair brush, dental floss and your dried towel sets. All these are meant to fit in separated sections of the shelve which may have a mirror in between or above the sink on another end of the room. The shelve also saves your room from having things flying around.

Now for the decorations, if you love art or graphic images, you should provide space for them if your restroom is big enough. A few pieces of arts you fancy can be put up on the wall. Picture Frames will take steam but if you’re ready to clean constantly, put up a flat one that sticks to the surface of the wall.

Adding the arts in a smaller space might look choking. In such cases, flowers in vase or standing arts will do the work nicely. The flowers can be of matching colors with your shower curtain if you have one.

With all that said, do not forget to make space for a waste bin. Something very light for paper materials and plastic because there will be unwrapping of packs, soaps and creams with the use of tissue paper as well.
