Stakeholder Commends Gov Fintiri, PDP For Organising Successful Wards Congress

In a resounding endorsement that echoes the pulse of grassroots democracy, Chief Dr. Maurice Vunobolki, the erudite philanthropist and powerhouse PDP stakeholder from the Southern Senatorial District, has lavishly commended Governor Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for orchestrating a flawless ward congress across the state’s 21 local government areas.

Describing the exercise as a “triumph of unity and transparency,” Vunobolki’s glowing tribute arrives hot on the heels of nationwide acclaim for Adamawa’s hitch-free polls, positioning the state as a beacon of PDP resurgence ahead of 2027.

Vunobolki, a PhD-holding luminary known for his roles in federal interventions like the North East Multi-Sectoral Crisis Recovery Project and his unyielding advocacy for rural empowerment, was boots-on-the-ground in Ward 2 of Numan Local Government Area.

There, he cast his vote to fill critical vacant party leadership positions, emerging energized by what he called an “unblemished showcase of democratic excellence.” “The process was peaceful, inclusive, and universally hailed as credible, free, and fair— a gold standard that every participant can proudly stand behind,” he enthused, his voice brimming with the fervor of a man who’s seen the trenches of political battles.

This isn’t mere rhetoric; it’s a validation from a man whose fingerprints are all over Adamawa’s progress. Vunobolki singled out the PDP’s national and state leadership for their meticulous orchestration, ensuring robust monitoring that unearthed and elevated credible voices from the grassroots.

“This congress wasn’t just an election—it was a renewal, injecting fresh blood and unwavering commitment into our party’s veins,” he declared. Coming amid PDP’s nationwide ward exercises to fortify its base, Adamawa’s seamless execution—praised by monitoring committee chair Chief Gebon Kataps as the “best conducted among 12 states”—has supercharged the party’s momentum, with consensus-driven outcomes in most of the 226 wards fostering unity over discord.

But Vunobolki’s praise doesn’t stop at party mechanics; it’s a full-throated rally cry for Governor Fintiri’s transformative reign. Crediting the helmsman for cultivating an “enabling environment” that made the congress possible, he painted Fintiri as the architect of Adamawa’s golden era.

“Governor Fintiri is delivering unprecedented development that’s touching every corner—roads slicing through forgotten villages, the N19.7 billion Jimeta Ultra-Modern Shopping Complex igniting commerce, and the N18.972 billion Adamawa International Conference Centre set to catapult us onto the global stage.”

Indeed, Fintiri’s 2025 infrastructure blitz—over N23 billion in high-impact projects, from flyovers and smart stadiums to rural agricultural marketing upgrades—has earned him the mantle of Nigeria’s Best Performing Governor in Infrastructure, turning Adamawa from a rural backwater into a humming hub of opportunity.

With the passion of a seasoned stakeholder, Vunobolki issued a clarion call that transcends party lines: “Adamawa indigenes, regardless of political affiliation or religious ties, must rally behind Governor Fintiri.

The PDP leadership has revolutionized every sector, and we’re all living witnesses to this rapid ascent—women and youth empowered, markets buzzing, and futures brightened.” His words cut through the noise of national politics, where PDP battles self-inflicted wounds and external sabotage, yet stands “deeply rooted in Nigeria’s heart,” as Kataps echoed.

Sealing his message with urgency, Vunobolki turned to the horizon: a fervent plea for voter registration ahead of 2027. “The exercise is in full swing—every eligible citizen, especially our vibrant youth turning 18 or hitting that milestone by 2027, must seize this moment. Register now, and let’s secure the gains Fintiri has unlocked for us all!”
