The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has flag off its campaign for its Governorship candidate, Dr. Olu Agunloye, ahead of the November 26th governorship election.
Speaking, the State Chairman of SDP, Chief Korede Duyile told the cheering crowd that attended the campaign to vote for Mr. Agunloye in the forthcoming governorship election of the state.
Mr. Duyile said Agunloys was on a mission to rescue and rebuild the state from the misrule of the past years of the incumbent government of Governor Olusegun Mimiko.
He added that the SDP would bring the needed change in government that the people of the state desire adding that employment opportunities would be provided.
The National Chairman, Chief Falae appealed to the people to cast their votes for the candidature of Olu Agunloye by November 26, 2016.
Mr. Falae said the Social Democratic Party woukd provide jobs for the unemployed youths in the state after six months of elected into the Alagbaka government house.
He maintained that the SDP administration would shun selfishness in government and ensure all the people enjoy the dividence of democracy.
According to him, Agunloye has been tested and trusted as a man of integrity and would not disappoint the people of Ondo state having occupied offices at the National level with proven integrity.
In his speech, Olu Agunloye assured the people that good legacies left behind by past government shall be adopted while those found unsuitable for the people shall be disregarded.
Mr. Agunloye expressed his readiness to provide selfless services to the people of the state after he becomes the next governor of the state.
He affirmed that prompt payment of salaries, youths empowerment and food security would be his administration’s major focus of he wins the Poll.
The SDP, governorship candidate had earlier visited the palace to received the royal blessing from the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo, Ogunlade Adelusi.
