Rwanda, best place to live in Africa
A global survey by an American research firm has named Rwanda as the best place to live in Africa.
According to a survey conducted by a US research firm, Gallup, which ranks the country fifteenth globally.
At an index score of 79, Rwanda tied with US and Bhutan. This score was eight positions higher than the worldwide average of 71.
Respondents from the 143 countries surveyed were asked questions about their previous day.
Some of these included, ‘Did you feel well-rested?’ ‘Did you feel respected all day?’ ‘Did you smile or laugh a lot?’
In the Eastern African region, Kenya emerged second in Africa and 33 globally with an index score of 77.
