RUMOURS: Man Utd to step up interest in Seamus Coleman

The Everton full-back has been linked with an Old Trafford switch for some time, and Jose Mourinho is ready to step up the pursuit

Jose Mourinho is preparing to step up Manchester United’s long-standing interest in Everton defender Seamus Coleman, according to The Independent.

The Red Devils were first linked with the Republic of Ireland international back in 2013, on the back of David Moyes trading the dugout at Goodison Park for that of Old Trafford.

United have since pursued alternative options, while spending big in other areas of the field, but Mourinho is ready to turn attention back to Coleman in an effort to find a solution to his problematic right-back berth.
