RUMOURS: Juventus battle Barcelona for Chelsea starlet Christensen

Juventus will swoop for young Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen in January but face competition from Barcelona, reports Calciomercato.

The 20-year-old is one of Europe’s hottest prospects after impressing on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach, where he is in his last season of a two-year loan deal.

Christensen has made only one appearance for Chelsea and Juventus are prepared to test the Stamford Bridge outfit’s resolve keeping him with a €19 million bid.

However, Barcelona are apparently also closely monitoring the Dane’s situation and a January battle for his signature appears inevitable.
