Police Declares Woman Involved In Same-sex Act With Maid Wanted

The Edo State Command of the Nigerian Police has declared one Idahosa Maureen wanted after she was caught in the act of same-sex practice with a maid in Benin City on April 5th 2024

Recall Mrs Idahosa Maureen was married to Idahosa Efe the son of prominent Benin palace Chief as she was recently exposed when she was caught in the act of same-sex practice with a maid in the palace .

A police statement made available to journalists in Benin City stated that one Idahosa Maureen who escaped arrest has been declared wanted for violating the Same-sex Prohibition Act 2014 after she was caught in the act with a maid .

According to the statement, the palace of Chief Thomas Idahosa has pledged to cooperate with the police in the investigation in order to apprehend and prosecute the fleeing Idahosa Maureen.

The family further stated that while such acts are embarrassing and regrettable as they are perceived as sacriledge before the ancestors of the land, hence certain cleansing in order to avert doom in the community must be performed .

Meanwhile, the police in the statement urged members of the public with useful information that could lead to the arrest of the fleeing Idahosa Maureen to report at any nearby Police station for a handsome reward of 5million naira.

In Nigeria, violation of the Same-sex Prohibition Act 2014 attracts a minimum of 14 years imprisonment upon conviction .
