Police Declares Fleeing Bisexual Suspect Wanted As Lover Dies In Custody After Arrest

The Edo State Command of the Nigerian Police has declared wanted one Joseph Egbe Okosun after he was reportedly caught in the act of same-sex practice with another man simply identified as John Samuel in a remote community in Benin City in February 2023 .

It was gathered that the 2 bisexual men were caught in the act of same-sex practice by an unsuspecting neighbour who walked into an apartment belonging to John Samuel unannounced as it was said that the locks on the door were not in use .

An eye-witness account who pleaded anonymity said that the two bisexual men were complletely naked and in a frenzied mood when they were caught in the act by a male neighbour who walked in on them .

Trouble however started for the bisexual men as the neighbour immediately ran out and raised an alarm to attract others who raced down to the apartment to catch a glimpse of the sacrilegious act the community.

It was said that one of the bisexual men Joseph Egbe Okosun however managed to escape through an exit back-door leading to the apartment while John was suddenly surrounded by a mammoth crowd of angry mob who violently unleashed terror on him as desperate efforts were made to chase after Joseph Egbe Okosun who escaped his pursuers.

The angry mob continued to violently beat up and torture John while others ransacked his apartment for more incriminating evidence as nude photos of both men were discovered in his phone as different sex toys were later recovered also, it was confirmed.

After his sudden escape, a group of angry youths reportedly went after him by going to his house in Benin City where property and the building were set ablaze and destoyed as the crowd of angry mob could not see him to apprehend him

John Samuel was however rescued from the angry mob who almost lynched him to death as the early arrival of the police immediately stopped him from being lynched to death by the angry mob who were already armed with petrol and tyres as cannisters of teargas were fired to disperse the crowd while John Samuel was immediately arrested and taken away Into custody.

Meanwhile, the Edo State Command of the Nigerian police in a statement made available to journalists in Benin City stated that 2 bisexual men namely Joseph Egbe Okosun and John Samuel were nabbed in the act of same-sex act by an unsuspecting neighbour in a remote community in Benin City.

The statement further stated that one of the bisexual men Joseph Egbe Okosun however managed to escape from the scene before the arrival of the police as John Samuel was however rescued from almost being lynched by a team of policemen on patrol and taken away.

According to the statement, John who made confesssional statement implicating his fleeing lover, was later said to have died from complications arising the violent mob attack while in custody.

The statement urged members of the general public with useful information that could lead to the arrest of the fleeing Joseph Egbe Okosun to come forward adding that he had been declared wanted as the Command was in possession of more incriminating evidence to prosecute him for breaching the Same-sex Marriage Prohibition Act of 2014 immediately he is arrested.
