Mothers are invaluable, resourceful and endearing – Ekwunife
The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Uche Ekwunife, has described Mothers as invaluable gifts to the society.
She stated this in a goodwill message released on Sunday in commemoration of this year’s Mothers’ day celebration.
In her message, Senator Ekwunife described the efforts of mothers as key to the building and sustenance of the society.
Her words: “As we celebrate the gift of motherhood, we are reminded of the invaluable role of mothers in the society. Beyond their ability to care and support the growth of children, mothers are empathic over the affairs of others.
“Mothers are by nature compassionate, resourceful and endearing. This has been exemplified in the character showcased by most women who have held leadership positions, to the extent that today mothers are playing leading roles in governance, business and other aspects of the society”.

Ekwunife celebrated all hardworking mothers who have exemplified the true virtues of motherhood in their personal, family and public life.
She called for efforts to encourage the sacrifices mothers make towards the building and sustenance of homes, families and the society at large, and prayed for God’s favour and grace upon all Mothers across Nigeria and beyond.
