Mo Abudu rocks Toronto for new age

Nearly two decades now, Monday September 11 has remains a significant day in the annals of global history, especially in the United States. Of course, the day always marked in a sombre mood in the US because of the unfortunate terror attacks of the then Twin Tower but not for Africa’s media mogul, Mosunmola Dominique Abudu, popularly known as Mo Abudu, as the date has always been a remarkable one for her.

So it was again last Monday when the CEO of EbonyLife TV clocked 53. On this day, Mo was in faraway Toronto, Canada with some cast and crew of her latest movie project, The Royal Hibiscus Hotel.

In as much as her visit to the North American country was a working one as exhibitor at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, Mo still took time out to celebrate her new age.

In her usual classy style, Mo invited the cast of the movie and some friends who were around to an exclusive soiree at the prestigious Taco Restaurant inside Ritz Carlton in the heart of Toronto, Canada. Notables at the bash included Mr. Foley Folarin-Coker, Director-General, Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation alongside his wife, Aisha; and Prince Jide Kosoko.

Over the last decade, Mo has always brim with a defined sense of purpose. As a venture capitalist, the mum of two -Temidayo and Koyejo- has consistently blazed the trail with confidence in various fields.
