As the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) approach, Nollywood actress and filmmaker Mercy Aigbe is reflecting on her illustrious journey in the Nigerian film industry. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she shared nostalgic photos from her first AMVCA win in 2014, expressing gratitude for her enduring relevance and continued recognition over the years.
“As we are gearing up for AMVCA 2025, let me throw back to 2014 when I won my first AMVCA!” Aigbe wrote. “After that win, I received several nominations, and this year, I received another one in the Best Supporting Actress category for ‘Farmer’s Bride’!”
