LPPC promotes 31 lawyers to the rank of SAN

The Attorney-General of Ondo state, Adekola Adeyeye Olalwoye and the Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Prof. Isa Hayatu Chiroma were among the 31 senior lawyers promoted on Thursday by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC), to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

The Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court and Secretary of the LPPC Hadizatu Mustapha who announced in Abuja the names successful applicants said that 106 lawyers applied, out of which 31 were selected.

Those successful, alongside the AG, Ondo and the Nigerian Law School Director-General are the Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University, Professor Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun, Attorney General of Lagos State, Mosediq Adeniji Kareem.

Also on the list are: Oba Madu Buchi, Essien Essien Udom, Prof. Yemisi Bamgbose, Metong Bertram Robert Urombo, Prof. Wahab Egbewole, Geroge Chiedu Igbokwe and Olubowale Taiwo.
