Joza Global Logistics bags NBC award
Joza Global Logistics, a comprehensive, modernised fleet management solution provider and the biggest individually owned haulage and logistic firm in Nigeria was recently at the Nigeria Breweries organised distributor and transporters awards ceremony named as the best national key category transporter award of the year 2015 at a prestigious ceremony held at the Oriental Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The award, which is the fourth in a row for Joza Global who was also voted as the best in operations and safety however, has successfully placed the organisation above other big players in the transport industry, as undeniably the overall best. Currently, the transport giant is also the biggest transporter on record in Nigerian Breweries, Unicem and PZ, with over a 400 trucks in active fleet.
Nigerian Breweries Sales director, Mr. Hubert Eze, in his inaugural speech, expressed great thanks to all their business partners who have been with them both in thick and thin and also restate their unwavering commitment to continuously reward its outstanding partners for growth. He however cautioned that this year certainly will be a tough one, but, reassured everyone that they are going to ride the storm.
Also going by the Nigerian breweries culture of saving the best for the last, the Managing Director, Mr. Nicholas Vervelde, at a time that was at sync with real business of the day, got up to the podium and delivered the trophy–plaque to Mr Usiakpor Emmanuel, MD/CEO of Joza Global logistics, after a gift donation of a brand new Toyota Hilux have been announced to the company credit.
Joza Global have also contributed immensely in helping to reduce unemployment in Nigeria by providing gainful employment in different job categories spread over nine states in Nigeria, for over a thousand people.
Joseph Benjamin, a popular TV presenter, who also for years now has successfully co-hosted the MTN project fame reality show, was on the driver’s wheel to handle the compere role.
To lighten the atmosphere, Seyi Law, one of the Nigerian’s foremost stand-up comedian thrilled the audience to rib cracking jokes and comedy, while the “elegant stallion” and lady of songs Onyeka Onwenu serenaded the turbo-charged audience with her soulful resonating old school tunes.
