Joy as Foluso Ayodeji Adebanjo Mni Deputy Inspector-General of Police, DIG takes a bow

Foluso Ayodeji Adebanjo Mni, recently retired from the Nigeria Police Force after serving the country meritoriously for 33years 3months. A party was organized in his honour on Saturday lastweek by all the Assistant Inspector -Generals of police (AIGs) and Commissioners of Police (CPs) insouthwest Nigeria. The venue was BungalowRestaurant, GRA Ikeja, Lagos. There was a heavy presence of notable personalities at the party which include Arch Kunle Adeyemi, Mr Bube Okorodudu, AVM Terry Okorodudu and Chief,Tunde Fanimokun, AIG Aggoola Oshodi Glover, Assistant Inspector-General of Police Zone 2, Onikan, Lagos, CP,Iliyasu Ahmed, Ogun CP Abiodun Odude, Oyo CP, Gbenga ADEYANJU, Ondo, CP, Fimihan Adeosun among others.
The police boss, ,Adebanjo, noted for his brilliance and iron cast integrity is an indigene of Lagos State. He had served as commissioner ofPolice in charge of Anti Bomb, Commissioner of Police Edo State Command, Commissioner of Police in charge of administrative, Force Headquarters Abuja, later Commissionerof Police Rivers State Command and from there he was elevated to the rank of Deputy lnspector-General of Police. When asked to describe his career as a successful top ranking officer he retorted “Let me thank the Almighty God for seeing me through my career it has been a very interesting and dangerous journey filled with God’s goodness despite all the hazards associated with keeping the country safe. It is a mixture of meeting the good, the bad, the ugly and the very ugly. The task of keeping the country safe is a herculean one. There has to be total commitment to hard work, law and order, patriotism andthe love for the people of Nigeria”.
