The JOM Charities Award The goal of the third annual awards, which have been held for the past three years, is to honour distinguished society members and show gratitude to those who have contributed to the success of JOM Charity.
Since its founding in 2017, the awards have established itself as the highest honour in a variety of fields, including art, media, politics, technology, literature, and human rights. It is also recognized internationally as a symbol of excellence in the fields of fair trade, community heritage, science, human rights, and the environment. The awards are not only a highly esteemed accolade, but they also serve as a monument to the unwavering commitment to excellence of each individual enterprise.
The inaugural award ceremony took place at Glasgow, Scotland’s Jom Charities Art and Cultural Center. In 2019, it was held at The Glasgow Academy, Schools in Glasgow, Scotland. Due to the coronavirus lockdown in 2020, the ceremony was conducted virtually. Participants included members of the general public, children from the Nigerian community in Scotland, and artists from Africa, including Nigeria.
The goal of the JOM Charity Award is to honor and reward exceptional people working in the fields of entertainment, innovation, development, humanitarian help, and entrepreneurship etc. The bravery and commitment they have shown in their pursuit of improving the world is demonstrated by this prize.
Furthermore, five young adults, no older than thirty, are recognized by JOMCA for their exceptional advocacy, activism, and role modeling in reshaping communities and improving the globe after they must have passed through the selection process, Background check, public votes and questionnaire stage
The Six Core Principles of JOM Charity—Confidence, Conviction, Dedication, Giving, and Respect—are acknowledged as being embodied by each of these champions.
Glasgow, Scotland’s Taste of Home restaurant served as the ceremony’s location. The champions were crowned that evening amid a glamorized spectacle.It was a glamorous and joyous occasion that marked the coronation of various champions.
