How priest, ex-leaders, conspire to dethrone Bishop
An alleged plot by an Anglican Priest, Rev. Sonny Ndolo, Innocent Nwangwu and some ex- leaders of the church to dethrone the Bishop/General overseer of the Christian Charismatic Ministries(CCM), has been unraveled.
Ndolo was a former secretary of the Ministry (CCM), before he switched over to the Anglican Communion as a Reverend.
According to the legal counsel of the ministry Barr. Ihite Emmanuel Orji, Ndolo through the help of one magistrate Jude O. Umuzurike capitalise on an error he made in the replacement of some Trustees to incarcerate the General Overseer of the Ministry.
The lawyer admitted under oath that it was an error said; “that the brief of replacement of some Trustees for the Christian Charismatic Ministries with its headquarters in Enugu, was handed over to me by my colleague Barr. Paul Uchenna Onuorah.
“That the said Barr. Paul Uchenna Onuorah is a very close friend who was practicing in Enugu before he came to Abuja a few years ago.
“That occasionally he uses my office as his address within Abuja jurisdiction.
“That he gives me some of his briefs to do for him since he has been sick and incapacitated over the years.
“That what I did was to enter the name of Pastor Joseph S. Ndolo as in the file and scanned his signature on the documents filed.
“that neither the Christian Charismatic Ministries nor Pastor Joseph S. Ndolo was aware of what I did prior to when it was done and none of them understood my intention for doing it.”

“That when I did it, I had no bad intention to cause any harm or injury to anybody, neither was it done to over reach or hurt the feelings of anyone”.
The head of litigation unit of the Nigerian Police in Abuja, ACP Barr. Anyanwu Cosmas who actually advised that the accused persons be prosecuted, however, realized his mistake, he regrettably advised the Enugu Directorate of Public Prosecution to withdraw the charges. He also came to the court and testified that the Church leadership is being prosecuted in error.
Meanwhile, Magistrate Jude O. Umuezurike is presently on suspension for his role in the imbroglio.
