Hon Onyejeocha flags off campaign, says traditional rulers disobey directives to shun APC rally

Plans to stop royal fathers from attending official flag-off campaign rally of a federal lawmaker Hon Nkeiruka Onyejeocha in Umunneochi Local Government was not successful as over 60 monarchs graced the event.
This disclosure was by the Federal Lawmaker who represents Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency while addressing faithful at Peace Comprehensive Secondary School field, Nkwoagu Amuda Isuochi, alleging that the state government had threatened traditional rulers in the area not to honour her invitation.
She said she has no regrets dumping PDP for APC, pointing out that PDP has lost its relevance, credibility and goodwill on Isuikwuato/Umunneochi people while revealing further that godfatherism, impunity and mismanagement of state treasury contributed for her exit, while reiterating her total commitment to work towards the overall success of APC come 2019 election.
While expressing her delight over quality representation she recorded for the past 11 years, Hon. Onyejeocha highlighted the results of her giant strides within the period under review to include constructing and reconstructing of over 50 primary and secondary school across the constituency, offer scholarship scheme to 238 beneficiaries ranges from primary, secondary, university and in addition to established community-based library with books and furniture as well as attracted the design of erosion control drainage/environmental impact assessment for Abia State University – Afikpo-Uturu road/Isuikwato-Uturu road and construction of over five rural roads in the constituent.
Other achievements recorded are the ongoing aviation training college at Isuochi, annual free medical treatment, construction of eight health centres, building of churches for congregation/nine houses for indigent indigenes, installation of 120 electric poles/680 solar street lights across political wards and 300 KVA transformer as well as constructed of ICT centre and employment of 230 indigenes of Abia State in different federal ministries and parastatals amongst others.
