Homosexual: Man mobbed to death in Calabar, another escapes mob attack

Two young men, Peter Okoro and Humphrey Ighodalo were caught over the weekend , at the Calabar metropolis in Cross River State.
Our correspondent gathered that they had moved in from Lagos state on 30th day of March 2024 to Calabar for a business trip, during which they rented the apartment .
A competent source hinted that the duo were drunk from the night club and returned straight into love making without shutting the hotel room door.
According to the cab driver, “I noticed from the car when I was taking them to their destination that they were up to something, it raised my suspicions.

“It was such an embarrassing sight for me and that’s why when we got to the hotel, I allowed them to settle in. After some time, I went back to the room with a colleague and we saw both men naked and slightly asleep. There was clear evidence that they just finished making love.”
“He said both men were apprehended and we raised alarm but one of them bite my arm in desperation to escape and over powered me and escaped before the angry mob that lynched his partner gathered.
Meanwhile, the Police in Calabar confirmed that one of the men, Peter okoro was lifeless when they arrived at the scene , while his partner in crime Humphrey ighodalo a native of Igueben local government area in Edo State Nigeria managed to escape.
He said a manhunt has been launched for him and assured that he would be arrested to face the wrath of the law for engaging in an unlawful sexual act.
