Gov Hope, Author Eze and Ginika Tor lead Igbo in Asiwaju victory celebration in Abuja

The omaluegwuoku progressive initiative, an Igbo socio cultural organization that campaigned for Tinubu Shettima victory across the 36 states has held a victory celebration in Abuja to thank God for their victory.

The celebration which was held in unity fountain in conjunction with Tinubu support group was chaired by the Imo state governor and supported by Author Eze.

In her opening remarks, the president of omaluegwuoku progressive initiatives. Amb Chief Ginika Tor thank the president elect for the opportunity to serve in his campaign council. She said the Igbos are ready and willing to work with the president elect. She described the president elect as a true and diatribe Nigeria who can deliver the dividend of democracy to the nation.

Amb Ginika also called on the president elect to make gender inclusiveness a top priority during his reign by beginning with the 10th Assembly where a woman is contesting for the post of deputy speaker. She said Hon Miriam Onuoha was among the people whose constituency gave the APC the highest number of votes from the south east and demand for his support to emerge deputy speaker of the 10th Assembly.

The highlight of the event was raffle draw and Igbo cultural display. The event was well attended by large number of Igbo people that came from across the country to Abuja. Also in attendance was Rt hon Miriam Onuoha a member of the federal house of representatives and deputy speaker aspirant in the 10th Assembly, Hon Odimosu, two term member of the House representatives and leader of the initiatives. Dr Ogbonna Emmanuel, the secretary general of Omaluegwuoku progressive initiative and Mrs Somto Uzodimna, the daughter of Gov hope Uzodimna, Hon Commissioner representing Abia state in federal character Commission and omaluegwuoku progressive initiatives members from thirty six state of the federation.
