Week 4 games of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) scheduled for April 4 and 5 have been postponed till Sunday, April 19.
A statement from the office of the Chief Operating Officer of the League Management Company (LMC), Salihu Abubakar, said the games have been rescheduled sequel to the directive of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) fixing all States’ FA Cup finals for the weekend of April 4 and 5.
Abubakar also said the rescheduling would allow the players and club officials participate fully in the on-going national elections and also allow clubs on continental engagements focus on reaching the next stage of their various competitions.
“All Match Day 4 fixtures will now hold on Sunday, April 19 and we will release the date for Match Day 5 fixtures in due time,” Abubakar stated.
