Couple name their newborn COVID to keep relatives from visiting

COVID-19 pandemic came with so many abnormalities and the case of Somya and Rajiv is not any different.

A couple from Delhi who recently changed status to parents after welcoming their first child, decided to name the newborn Covid to maintain social distancing with their relatives.

According to THE FAUXY, Somya and Rajiv got married last year and had a bad experience meeting their annoying relatives, since then they have been thinking about excuses to stay away from the relatives.

However after finding it difficult to get a genuine reason to keep their relative away, they went ahead to name the child COVID.

“Relatives aren’t even calling us to congratulate let alone coming to our house. I am so happy about the deceiving we made” said Somya.
