Corrupt people not comfortable with Buhari govt policies – Niran

A governorship aspirant under the flagship of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Moyosola Niran-Oladunni, has said corrupt people are not comfortable with the policies and actions of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government.

He made this statement in a chat at the 6th year anniversary of Trinity House pastored by Ituah Ighodalo where he was invited as a special guest, when asked if residents in Ondo State would vote for the party he represents because Nigerians are concerned about the state of the economy.

According to him, “Nigerians are happy; it is the corrupt people that are complaining, it is the corrupt people that are not comfortable with the policies and actions of this government. It is people that have skeleton in the cupboard that have been complaining.”

On his agenda for Ondo State, Niran said he would make the state a tourist centre; provide basic infrastructure and make it a place of pride where everybody will want to visit.

He said, “We will make Ondo State a city state to stand on provisional and basic infrastructure and we will not make promise we will not keep because one thing that has been going for us is our credibility and even our opponents also talk about our credibility.

“We will also turn Ondo into a state of splendour where people will want to come and stay and also tour. It is achievable and we are going to do it.”

Dignitaries at the event include former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, Former First Lady of Lagos State, Abimbola Fashola, Former Governor of Ekiti State, Niyi Adebayo amongst others.

The gubernatorial aspirant said his plan is to run a proactive governance to ensure that wealth is distributed to all.

“The plan is to run a very sound governance: the plan is to serve the people, and we are going to ensure that the standard of education is improved and ensure that there is abundant food for people,” Niran added.
