Community development: Urhobos in Lagos moves to bond together

 Prominent Urhobo sons and daughters in Lagos will gather on Monday, October 2, 2017, to discuss matters relating to the current socioeconomic and political situation in Nigeria as they affect the development, growth, progress and survival of the Urhobo nation both on the short and long-term under the theme, “Urhobo Unity, Progress and The Way Forward.”

 The gathering, put together by Urhobo Social Club, Lagos, will be chaired by Olorogun Moses Taiga, President General, Urhobo Progress Union Worldwide.

In a statement made available to journalists recently in Lagos, the Public Relations Officer of the club, Prince Emmanuel Ogbon said, the gathering will enable prominent Urhobo Clubs, sons and daughters in Lagos to get more acquainted with one another, and chart a road map for the unity, progress, and the development of the Urhobos.
