COLLETT foundation offers center as isolation home for Covid-19 patients

As part of it’s corporate social responsibility in complementing government’s effort to contain the deadly Coronavirus, the COLLETT foundation has donated it’s center as isolation abode for Covid 19 patients.

He said Nigeria and the entire world is going through difficult times where government on its own cannot salvage the situation, which prompted it’s decision to assist in containing the spread of the virus.


“Started like play, now it is real. Strangely, COVID-19 started from the top in Nigeria. 


“While we do not hope death for anyone, the situation is now more serious than usual and our foundation cannot stand aloof. We are in this together, and we shall support as much as we can. 


“Together, we are stronger and on this note, starting from immediately, of course with the approval of the Nigerian Center for Diseases (NCDC) control and requisites government authorities, COLLETT Foundation Nigeria is offering a 50 bed space, a private consulting station and administration office for use in the Nyanya-Karu-Kurudu axis of Abuja as isolation center for the Nigerian Center for Diseases Control for the period the COVID-19 persists in Abuja, ” Ogunsola said.


He said the axis which the facility is located has over 1 million residents and  currently has no structure on ground to attend to COVID-19 cases.


He said the gesture is part of COLLETT’s donation and contribution to help fight COVID-19 in Nigeria and further called on philanthropists to assist government in everyway possible in containing the virus.
