Breaking: Policemen lead Saraki to honour police invitation, Ekweremadu residence under siege

As the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki prepares toleave his residence at Lake Chad, Maitama, Abuja to honour Police invitation over Offa Robbery incident, the entrance to his residence was blocked to prevent him from going out.

On getting to Saraki’s residence, it was discovered that he was truly blocked but later allowed and teleguided to ensure that he did not detour from going to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) facility in Guzape, Abuja.

It was also gathered that the residence of his deputy, Senator Ike Ekweremadu was allegedly besieged by officials of the DSS in the early hours of today.

These developments might not be unconnected with the alleged mass defection of members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC ) to r-APC and invariably give the PDP spearheaded coalition a majority in the National Assembly.
