Bisi Akinola, Gov Fayose ally opens multi-million naira office

If there is one man who wields enormous influence within the Government House in Ekiti State and yet remains unobtrusive, he is Olabisi Akinola. The Ado-Ekiti-born dude, popularly called Bisime, is one guy who holds no political position in the state yet has become thecatalyst to the success of many policies and project of the incumbent Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayo Fayose.
For many years, Bisime lived in London, a city he relocated to at the age of 24 years and later returned to Nigeria to contribute his quota to the development of his home country’s economy. Endowed with abundant talents and creative mindset of providing solutions to most challenging issues, Bisime is one of the Diaspora Nigerians who are importing their skills to change things.
As a businessman, he has established himself in the areas of real estate and property development, auto dealership andICT. During the last Easter Sunday, Bisime played a host to scores of his friends from London, Lagos and Ekiti high society who came to felicitate with him on the epoch-making opening of his multi-million naira office complex cum car lot in Lagos. The beautiful edifice, said to have cost the one-time London-based businessman a near fortune, is located inside the elitist Omole Phase 2 but facing Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Bisime has for many years been one of Governor Fayose’s inner caucus men. Their friendship dates back to those days Fayose was still a struggling businessman shuttling Nigeria and Europe. When he later became Ekiti Governor, Bisime, who was based in London, was invited home to assist his friend in seamless running of the state. When the governor ran into trouble in 2006, Bisime returned to London to resume his business and during the interregnum, he oscillated between Nigeria, United States and United Kingdom. When in 2014, Fayose returned to power, Bisime returned and became an unofficial Chief of Staff to the governor.
Last year when Bisime clocked 50, he had scores of heavyweights in Ekiti politics and social circle including Governor Fayose turned up to honour him. He is married to Bukola, a trained Pharmacologist and former staff of Roche Pharmaceuticals Company in London.
