APC Senatorial poll: Aspirant says Nnamdi Kanu can’t return Abaribe

Abia South senatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chinedu Onyeizu, has said that Nnamdi Kanu cannot single handedly return Enyinnaya Abaribe to the Senate just because he assisted his bail from the prison custody.
Onyeizu also said that he is confident of retiring Abaribe, if he is given ticket to contest against the serving Senator.
Speaking with journalists in Abuja on Thursday, the 38 year-old senate aspirant, said that he is counting on the ‘Not Too Young To Run’ Act to mobilize Abia youths to retire Abaribe from the senate, promising to empower the youths by providing to them the needed dividend of democracy.
He said: “The fact that he helped Nnamdi Kanu out of detention does not give him edge over me. It is not enough. I am concerned about the hopelessness of the youths of the Senatorial district, the bad roads in the community, lack of empowerment of the youths and these are more important to my people”.
