Travel, tourism can boost Nigerian economy – Travel Expert

Travel and tourism has been described as a sector that can generate more revenue to the government and promote the country in a positive light.

According to a travel and tourism expert, Ameh Inalegwu, there are fascinating areas in Nigeria which if properly harnessed will help in boosting the nation’s economic as it is done in other climes.

Inalegwu, who just returned from Prado Museum, said that Spain is a suitable destination for tourists urging the Nigerian government to learn from them.

The travel and tourism expert said this while sharing his tourism experience with select Journalists in Lagos.

According to him, the Museo Nacional del Prado, also known as El Prado or the Prado, is Spain’s most significant national art museum.

He said: “Mentioned in the same breath as the Louvre in Paris and the Met in New York City, the Prado attracts more than 2.8 million visitors per year.

“The Prado is home to some of the world’s most valuable and important Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces.

Primarily collected by the Spanish monarchs of the 16th and 17th century, the Prado’s features celebrated painters, Francisco Goya, Hieronymus Bosch, Titan, El Greco, Peter Paul Rubens, and Diego Velazquez are all represented at the peak of their talent.
