9 Years After Death of Osas Esther, Search For Gay, Lesbian Suspects Continues

The violence which erupted on May 25th 2014 in an undisclosed hotel by a group of gays and lesbians who organized a birthday party for one Osariemen Clara Okundia might have come and gone but its memories linger on forever especially against the backdrop of several injuries to gay and lesbian suspects who escaped during the violent party which led to the death of one Osas Esther .
It will be recalled that after the violent incident of May 25th 2014, investigation into the remote causes of the violence and likely arrest were made leading to the arrest of one Odiboh Nosa, a student of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Edo State who also attended the gay party on May 25th 2014 along with other gay and lesbian suspects before it degenerated into violence.
A statement by the Edo State Command of the Nigerian police revealed that one Odiboh Nosa who resides in Evbomore community was however arrested on May 27th, 2014 after strategic information gathering and surveillance by security operatives.
According to the report, one Odiboh Nosa who was among the wounded gay suspects declared wanted along with others made useful confessional statement implicating one Akometa Kenneth Joseph, an apprentice in a furniture making company in Evbomore community who also attended the violent gay party on May 25th.
Report had it that Akometa Kenneth Joseph and Odiboh Nosa who both reside in Evbomore community in Benin City secretly attended the birthday party in Ekpoma for gays and lesbians in an undisclosed hotel in Ekpoma but escaped before the arrival of the police.
Meanwhile, it is exactly 9 years after the ugly incident of the violent party, the Edo State Command of the Nigeria police says concerted efforts have been made to arrest all fleeing suspects involved in the violence which led to the death of Osas Esther .
The statement further added that Odiboh Nosa who is already in police custody was helping in compiling the names of other fleeing suspects as it further declared one Akometa Kennth Joseph, Davina Amayo,Edosa , Wilfred, John, Kelvin and others wanted for murder and violation of the provisions of Same-sex Marriage Prohibition ACT 2013.
