2 men plead guilty to breaking in, entering

Two men, Folorunsho Ogunde, 28, and Friday Ovie, 26,  pleaded guilty to the offence of breaking in and entering before a Badagry Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State on Tuesday.

The two men having no fixed addresses were earlier charged for breaking in and entering.

The Prosecutor, ASP. Nkem Ukor, told the court that the defendants committed the offences on Jan. 30 at about 9:45 a.m. at Block 13, General Hospital Quarters, Badagry.

“The defendants forcibly broke and entered into the house of one Mrs Kehinde Hensu with intent to steal,” the prosecutor.

According to him, the offence contravenes Section 308 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

Magistrate Patrick Adekomaiya adjourned the case until Feb. 24 for facts and sentencing.
