10th NASS: APC yet to zone principal leadership positions – Spokesman

The ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC) has dismissed speculations of zoning principal positions in the yet to be inaugurated National Assembly.
There has been political permutations that the party has bowed to pressure by zoning its principal positions in the 10th Assembly in some quarter’s of the media, not Daily Times, especially, office of the Senate President and Speaker, House of Representatives.
But in its reactions on Friday, National Publicity Secretary of the Party, Barr Felix Morka said attention of the APC has been drawn to versions of zoning arrangements for the10th Assembly leadership in some sections of the media.
He said: “The attention of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) has been drawn to versions of zoning arrangements for the 10th National Assembly leadership positions in circulation in sections of social media.

“The information did not emanate from the Party and should be disregarded.
“To be clear, the Party is yet, to zone positions of leadership of the 10th National Assembly.
“Any decisions made in that regard will be duly communicated via the Party’s official information channels,” he added.
