The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 25 beneficiaries were selected from each of the three wards in Omu-Aran; namely Aran, Ihahe and Ifaja wards, with each beneficiary receiving 5kg of semovita.

Oyedepo said that the donation was also part of the forum’s corporate social responsibility toward ensuring the welfare and well-being of the less privilege and vulnerable in the society.

“This donation was meant to complement various incentives from government, groups and individuals as a way of giving succour to our people following the government stay-at-home directive,” she said.

Oyedepo said the forum had earlier donated food items to orphanage and hospital equipment to Omu-Aran General Hospital in order to ensure the welfare of patients, especially those on admission.

“Items donated are hospital screens, suction machine, testoscopes, sphygmomanometer and pillows, among others,” she said.
