Van Dijk joins Messi and Ronaldo as UEFA Men’s Player of the Year nominees
Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk joins the two European powerhouses after lifting the Champions League trophy in June.
Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has been shortlisted alongside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for the men’s UEFA Player of the Year award, however the two champions Lionel Messi and Cristaiano Ronaldo are not new to such nominations.
The winner of the award would be announced on the 29th of August 2019.
